We, Ann and Bobby Hommerberg, left Sweden and Stockholm in 2004.to pursue a new life and a new business in Italy.In Sweden, where Bobby works as a publisher and editor, and Ann as informer, editor and writer. For many years we were both self-employed. In this way, we learned that quality, good service and good relationships are important concepts in each activity.
It was in this spirit we have worked when Bobby unexpectedly and very suddenly passed away on Christmas Eve in 2009. The business I am now driving further inspired by his way of being. Of the many good contacts he built up. Of his great interest in history, art, music, food and wine. Of his films and interviews on the website. Therefore, this is still our business, but not exclusively ours.
To my delight, Lars Hommerberg, Bobby's brother and my brother in law, now has taken over some of Bobby's work. Lars, who is a trained art historian and archaeologist, has 20 years experience in tourism and guiding.We will jointly plan for small groups who want to come here to learn, experience and enjoy Italy. Naturally, I am working also on the hiring of well-chosen homes in and just outside Panicale, our Umbrian Paradise.
